I guess it's a habit I picked up from countless hours discussing such things as attenuation and spreading losses, time of transmission, direct arrival, multipath, etc.

But you are right. When I write about a material's 'velocity' I am really referring to it's Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025068942489566045.post-75581284821361028512011-01-05T23:18:54.597-05:002011-01-05T23:18:54.597-05:00Hi, great blog, love the pictures, the boats, and ...Hi, great blog, love the pictures, the boats, and the Land Rovers!

When you say "anytime a sound wave passes through an interface between two transfer mediums of different velocities, some energy is reflected"

You mean "density" when you wrote "velocity", right?

chrisAnonymoushttp://(optional)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025068942489566045.post-68023055500315233192009-06-03T07:38:27.308-04:002009-06-03T07:38:27.308-04:00loved the photos as always!loved the photos as always!heinzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09046341347443484062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025068942489566045.post-76754704971301624342009-06-01T21:13:50.813-04:002009-06-01T21:13:50.813-04:00What a cool fiddle! Then they gave him a jeep which handled the water much better. Glad you guys are getting outside again. I sent you an email about Robs trip. Hopefully you got it.LizLondonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16257622495384560876noreply@blogger.com
